course is very effective. Though young (25 years old) Cresswell has
over 10 years of experience in training dogs and other animals. As
proudly advertised in her site, she has been hired by several
movies, TV shows and commercials to train their animal actors.
While this is pretty impressive,
what interests us more is the quality of her course. Simply put - it
is first rate.
Her course is a full online
course. The downside is that you need to be connected to the
internet to fully utilize this course. The upside, though, is that
the course can deliver a whole lot more than e-book only courses.
The course consists of 7
multimedia lessons. These are in fact fully narrated and fully
illustrated slideshows,
that teach you what to do and what not to do, while enabling you to
see exactly how things should be done, and hear in
what tones commands and praise should be given.
Besides the seven lessons, the
course offers an email consultation line, but this seems to enable
you to send one email only, i.e. for your most pressing problem.
The bonus audio files are good
and enhance the course, but they are a bit short.
We like the multimedia approach
which enables very effective teaching. IN addition, this is a great
course for audio-visual learners. However, we would like to see more
than only seven lessons in a premium course. With a good e-book,
this could be the best course around. Without such an e-book, it
takes third place.
