Piano By Pattern is a good course. The "secret patterns" technique underlying this course is different from regular "old school" piano lessons - and extremely effective. However, it is not unique to this course, as both Learn and Master Piano and Rocket Piano utilize piano patterns as part of their teaching. Having said that, Piano By Pattern does a commendable job in teaching you to play by ear.

Power Piano Chords is the best course we tested for teaching chords and chord progressions. We highly recommend it both for intermediate, advanced or pro students who wish to complete their knowledge of chords and as a complementary product for the others.

Piano Wizard is the best course we know for teaching children piano. Combining learning with fun, kids actually learn piano without wanting to skip practice. The course is very effective, especially with the Academy packages which include DVDs and books taking the student to step 5 of actually mastering the piano. Piano Wizard is tightly focused on children, and is not intended for teenagers 14 and up or grown ups. However - if you want to teach your child to play the piano or you are a children's piano teacher - this program is for you and it is practically unbeatable.
Note that if you want to spend less for a children's piano course, you can get Piano is Fun. While not as good as Piano Wizard, it is still very effective and costs much less.
